VLSI Society of India and Texas Instruments India jointly conducted the second Two-day workshop on Embedded System Design – From Idea to Product during October 30-31, 2010 at IIT Madras, Chennai. Prof. Dhananjay Gadre, NSIT, Delhi was the principal Instructor. This workshop was intended exclusively for faculty members and students. The first workshop was held during October 4-5, 2010 at TI India, Bangalore. We thank the Department of Electrical Engineering of IIT Madras and Prof. Nitin Chandrachoodan in particular for their help in organizing the workshop. About 20 students and faculty participated in the workshop. The feedback for the course has been highly enthusiastic.
